Every Aviva facial begins with an assessment of your skin’s current condition in order to determine treatment focus and ongoing skincare. We start with a deep cleansing, exfoliation and extractions. A massage of the shoulders, neck and face promotes deep muscle relaxation and encourages cell renewal. This is followed by a customized therapeutic mask. We finish your facial with products that moisturize and protect your healthy balanced skin. Facials also include a warm hand and foot hydrating treatment.

SKIN CARE l Shira Paul, Licensed Esthetician, Owner

When Shira left behind a career in technology and human resources, she stepped into one that had been calling to her ever since she experienced her first facial at a New York spa in 1982. Over the years, her interest in skincare grew to include other aspects of health such as nutrition, exercise, and alternative therapies. Even as she achieved success in the high-tech world at such companies as AT&T, Paramount Pictures, and Microsoft, she knew that one day she would become an esthetician and open a spa.

These days Shira spends her time doing what she loves – providing excellent skincare and products, and sharing her extensive knowledge and passion with her clients.

MASSAGE l Shelley Alexander, LMP, Esthetician

Shelley is a Washington native who studied massage at the School of Good Medicine in Whitefish, Montana. She graduated in 2000, and returned to Washington State, where she has been licensed, nationally certified, and has been practicing massage ever since.

Shelley is also a reflexologist and a licensed esthetician. She lives in Bellevue with her two favorite guys – her husband Kirt, and her flat-coated retriever Gus.
